Hospital Facilities

Spire Parkway Hospital has 55 beds, including an 8 bedded Day Care Facility and 4 operating theatres.  Two of these theatres are major operating theatres equipped with laminar flow, which is a clean air system which reduces the risk of infection, particularly during orthopaedic procedures.  There are three High Dependency Beds and 1 ICU (Intensive Care Unit) bed.  There is a minor procedures theatre within the outpatient complex, which allows removal of smaller lesions to be performed promptly and comfortably without the need to be admitted to the hospital.  There may be the option to have your minor surgery on the day of your appointment by prior arrangement.

The hospital is BUPA Approved to perform breast cancer surgery with all of the back up services including mammography, MRI and CT scans.  Chemotherapy is also available to treat cancer.

Hospital Staff

All treatment is delivered by consultants on the General Medical Council’s Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery.

A Resident Medical Officer is on duty 24 hours a day providing medical back up to our experienced team of nurses.
